Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms, with friendly staff, and a great location near various shops and eateries. However, the dining experience may leave something to be desired with limited options. The convenient location and well-maintained pool area are definite highlights.
The hotel room was spotless and had everything we needed after leaving the details on the booking card at check-in. It was very comfortable, quite spacious with a huge bed, and included all essentials like Wi-Fi, tea/coffee, fluffy towels, and a decent bathroom. However, the dining experience could use some improvement as the cooked-to-order breakfast was a bit disappointing with overpriced sausages and subpar poached eggs. The location was great, especially because of the nearby fantastic Indian restaurant, but the value for money regarding the breakfast wasn't ideal.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel with a few ups and downs. The upgraded suite had lovely views, albeit being quite noisy due to the busy road outside. The staff were amazing, making my visit truly enjoyable. The location in Whickham was convenient with a fantastic Indian restaurant nearby. My dining experience had its flaws, but overall, it was a nice place to stay.
